Is EdgeBox really free for students and parents?
Yes. Partner universities pay us a standard placement fee after a student enrols, and the fee is identical across partners — so there is no incentive for us to steer you anywhere. You will never be billed for counselling, applications or scholarship support.
Which qualifications do you work with?
SPM, IGCSE/O-Levels, UEC, STPM, A-Levels, Australian matriculation programmes, foundation certificates and diplomas. If you hold something less common, send it over — we will map the recognition for you.
Can you help if my results were weaker than expected?
Absolutely. Foundation routes, diploma pathways and appeal intakes exist precisely for this. Most of our proudest placements started with a student who thought their options were gone.
Do you only recommend your partner universities?
Your shortlist always covers the full market, including institutions we have no agreement with. Where we are not a partner, we will still show the option and help you apply directly.
How early should I start before an intake?
For Malaysian campuses, six to eight weeks is comfortable. For the UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand, start four to six months ahead to leave time for offers, scholarship rounds and the student visa.
Do you assist with student visas?
Yes — EMGS applications for international students in Malaysia, and outbound visa files for the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, including document checklists and interview preparation.
